Hot off the presses....or actually off CNBC....Superstar, Mega-Monster, Bank-Bashing Momma Meredith Whitney is starting her own firm! A while ago we said that she had done all she could do with banks. It said it was akin to Bob Dylan figuring out he had done all he could do with folk music. Time to move on! I'd like to think this is a version of "Whitney Goes Electric!"

i guess she did not get a tarp funded bonus. Did anyone ever win the "when will automakers be back for more dough" competition? i was a little too optimistic thinking it would be paddys day.
