It's still very exasperating in the financial markets. So let's have a little fun shall we? Many of you have commented over the last few days as to why we haven't touched upon the tragedy that occured in Connecticut the other day involving Travis, the monkey. I'm not going to go into all the gory details but suffice it to say there's 1 mangled human and 1 dead monkey and if that isn't a good definition of monkey business, I don't know what is.
But this is not the first time old Travis got a little crazy. A few years back he got angry at his owner and jumped out of the car and started directing traffic. Everyone thought it was nice and cute. I remember that story and just thought it was weird. Travis, you see was a movie star. Well a TV star anyway. He was in commercials. He also got his hair combed, drank wine, ate filet mignon, took baths with his lady friend owner, drew pictures, logged in to a computer, slept in bed with his lady friend owner, drank tea with xanax, etc. Now read that sentence a few times and you tell me if the neighbor showed up with a new bad hairdo and an elmo doll, you wouldn't rip her face off and bite her hands off. This was a monkey who was the king of his castle. Do not come to my house with an Elmo doll and a bowl cut and expect me to be civil.
Then his lady friend sees all this and takes out a butcher knife and tries to whack Travis as he's mangling this other lady. Wouldn't you be like, "those pictures I drew you, that computer I logged into for you, the baths I took with you, and that sleeping we did in the bed, and you try and chop me up? Get out of my way. Let me go see if I can bust this cop up now." I just wonder if Travis said to the cop in "monkese": "you're next no coppahhhhh". Then the cop did one of those Harrison Ford moves like with the "sword guy" in one of those "Raiders of the Lost Ark" shows. Remember the guy does all sorts of funny things with the sword and then after a few seconds, Ford just looks at him whips out his pistol and guns the guy down? I hope the cop did that with the monkey. This will send a message to other monkeys who think they can act this way. Monkey business indeed.
