DEEEE-FENSE!! DEEEE-FENSE!!

Well, we ain't catching Big D today. Not a chance. He always celebrates "A-list Style" after the completion of a profitable sports season. (Which is just about ALL of them, I might add.) You know when I knew the game last night was going to go UNDER?

When it was 2-0 Kansas and #14 for Kentucky came in for a layup. In most places on earth, it would be classified as an assault, what that kid got hit with. Writhing on the ground in pain, he gallantly got up to the foul line to hit 1 of 2 free throws. It was then 2-1 Kansas with 2 minutes gone by. I was counting my money. EASY winner. Congrats on a fine college hoops season. Again. I'm sure Big D will be back in the coming days and weeks with some NBA action, and of course, the baseball. Now everybody scream this with me to the "DEE-FENSE" chant:

Big D UNDERrated? Shouldn't Be

Editor's Note--Welp, the horsie race on Saturday didn't go so hot for Big D and his merry men, women, and monkeys. How did EVERYTHING ELSE go? Let's paraphrase from the assclown politicians. "Are you better off this morning than you were on Friday afternoon?" Why, yes. Yes you are. How splendid. Smashing choices in the college basketball. Perfection even! Tonight is the BIIIIIIIG NCAA final game. And all I can think about is the game they are still talking about in the handicapping world, from 2008. When this Kansas team met Memphis. And the 2 coaches were the SAME. You know what happened in that game? Big D took the UNDER. That game went into OVERTIME. It STILL went UNDER the total. Reread those last 2 sentences again. How often can you say that happens? Well, it's commonplace with Large Richard. Are we lucky enough to be graced with the presence of a man who makes selections like this? Yes. Is he wildly on fire? Yes. Once again. So what say you Big Kahuna (Hawaiian for expert in his field)?--R.B.

Yes Richie, the Dubai World Cup proved difficult for TRANSCEND. Hey, it's never easy to win a $10mm race. It was good to see ALL the other plays come in however. ALL 3 other plays. 

You have a good memory Richie. The ol' "Pick an UNDER that is sooooo good, it will still come WAY under even with an extra 5 minute Overtime period" play. And you know what? We like it again this time.

The total opened on tonights Kentucky/Kansas matchup at 140 and has been since beaten down to 137.5 by "sharp bettors". Well, you know who the sharpest bettor is? Take the UNDER in this one pal. EVEN at 137.5. Rugged defense. Not great free throw shooting lately on either team. Not great 3 point shooting on either team either. (One of the gents on Kansas is 0 for 20 in his last 5 games) That all spells U-N-D-E-R as the two teams feel each other out for much of the game.
