Editor's Note--Lot of anti this and anti that these days. Political upheaval, riots, etc. Big D isn't in to all that political mother jazz. Unless, of course, he can make money on it. Speaking of, there's some NFL football Week 2 this Sunday, yes? Well Large Richard has decided to become ANTI one particular division in the NFL this week. Funny that. Just so happens that's where the chips are falling. Now there's going to be more chips falling in your lap. Potato, Chocolate, and MONEY CHIPS baby. Me? I'm off to the lovely Borgata Hotel Atlantic City, New Jersey for a major horse handicapping competition. But I will have this website on my "favorite" button for ALL the selections I will be making throughout the weekend. Big D?!? Give us THREE more, baby!!--R.B.
Yes, Richie it is true. We are "anti" something. And that something is.......the NFC EAST, youse wiseguys youse!
Everyone saying how the Giants will be ready this week, after coming out flat versus the Cowboys. They might be ready, but you don't beat the Giants with a flashy offense, Einsteins. Ask the New England Pats. You beat them with a sturdy hard nosed defense. Which Dallas kind of displayed. You know who also displayed that? The TAMPA BAY BUCS last week versus pro bowler Cam Newton. So you want to give us 7.5 points with this TAMPA team who also has a coach that will emphasize NO TURNOVERS? G-men not the greatest home favorite either, right? Take pal.
How bout them Cowboys? Well they aren't getting points this week, they are layin em. Not good. They are also layin em on the road. Not good. They are layin 3.5 of em. Very Not good. The SEAHAGS of SEATTLE play that home field like a fortress. The fans love em. The wind swirls. The team plays hard. Wouldn't be so surprised with a SEATTLE victory, would you? Well, we'll just take the points thank you very much.
Now the hype of the week award goes to the 'Skins. Sure they won with a rookie QB on the road no less. To the Saints no less! But the Saints aint close to last year's team with no former head coach and no former 4 players due to "bounty gate". Now the 'Skins lay points on the road?!?! The RAMS were this close to beating big bad Detroit on the road. This FISHER knows how to coach. Especially the defense. The fans will be hostile and rabid, they are excited again in ST. LOU. Rookie QB and a rookie offensive backfield for Washington is gonna lay 3.5 points in their 2nd game of their careers, on the road?!? Then we will be taking those points. R-A-M-S RAMS RAMS RAMS!
So there you have it. The Anti-NFC East plays. And to be honest, we mightve gone against Philly for a 4th play. That's how strongly we feel. The 3 winners of the week. Richie, may the horse be with you in your tournament. And to all of you good luck, god bless. And let's play a little music to bring us in to the weekend, yes? Yes! Felt like putting a song up with the word "America" in it. Funny that. Here comes the champagne........with the lobster and the eggs....
