Hear the rumor there was some trouble for some of the casinos paying off their sportsbook winners last week cause ALL FOUR favorites came in? Big D did. Hear the rumor that if all the public teams--Denver, Green Bay, Seatlle, and New Englland--win and cover this week, perhaps a FEW sportsbook operators are in REAL bad shape? Big D did. So....
There is a reason those big buildings with all that entertainment and glitz exist in Las Vegas. And it AINT because clowns come up to the wagering window and win all the time. Even half the time. Sometimes even a quarter of the time. So........
Denver played the 2nd easiest schedule in 23 years in the 2nd half of the season. Anyone remember what BALTIMORE did with "big bad" New England in Foxboro last year? Right. Look it up.
SAN FRANCISCO? 14-1-1 under Harbaugh at home during his tenure versus teams not named NY GIANTS. Are the 49ERS playing the Giants on Sunday? No they are not.
Seatlle has a real good team. Been covering a bunch in a row. Anyone talking ATLANTA this wknd? Anyone?!? How about when ATLANTA played the aforementioned Giants a few weeks back? When the line was nice and tight like this one? Seattle definitely banged up (with a new kicker this week FYI!).
Finally, New England in their last 8 playoff games have covered how many? 1. Thats right. 1. Anyone taking HOUSTON this week?!? Anyone?!?!
Soooooooo you can see where this is going. The "insane" Big D is going to give you 4 picks this week! All the ones most people hate!! Funny that right? Cause he thinks them buildings with the glitz and glamour are still standing nice and tall come Sunday night. You think he's nuts? Well then go play with the public and tell everyone how smart you are. There wont be any I told you so's from Big D. He wont need to, you will be soooooooo angry at yourself.
